"The above way" of translating the page will only work if you are using the "correct" browser, the way that I know works is;... , go to Google.com, at the top of that page click on "translate" when that page loads, simply put in the web url (the link for the page needing to be translated) and Google will return that page translated the best that Google can.

Now please note that there are some words that come back NOT translated. DO NOT ask me why, perhaps they are not in the Google dictionary to translate. Not even computers are perfect!
