Just got back from a trip to my local Walmart. In the craft clearance section, they had June Tailor Perfect Piecing foundation sheets (25 sheet packs) on sale for $2 (regular price $3.97). I thought other people here might want to check it out at their local WM... I bought 2 packs even though I don't know how to do foundation piecing yet--it's now on my list of things to try!

I think you're referring to paper piecing where paper is used as a template for cutting and sewing your pieces. As I understand it, in foundation piecing, you sew the pieces of your block (one-by-one according to your pattern) onto a foundation background the size of your block. I'm new at quilting, so maybe someone else could help me out here trying to explain the difference.
