Hi dee!
Oh... That one! That purse is not hard, just a little fussy to make. I have made many, many of them, in lots of colors. It is a great shape and the way the zipper fits in the top is very secure.
I sew all the time, so I know that when something gives you trouble to slow down and baste first. That is the only tip I would add to the directions. But, if you do make it, I am right here to ask any questions of me as you go. I think that is one of the very first ones I ever made. Also, I think Joann's carries those handles now. At least last time I checked they did.
