Very clever, will have to make

I agree ... very clever. When I see something like this I always wonder why I did not think of it. Guess I am not quite so clever. lol This would work for me as I am always wiping my hands on myself when cooking and continually misplacing my potholders. Thanks so much for posting this.

quiltymom 07-19-2011 06:43 AM

Thanks for sharing great idea!!!

BuzzinBumble 07-19-2011 08:46 AM

That is so clever! I've never seen an apron with built in potholders - a brilliant and very practical idea. Thanks for posting!

But did anyone read all the errors in the pattern? It is a cute pattern but I would like to see a final edition on it before I try it.

np3 07-19-2011 09:46 AM

Errors?

patimint 07-19-2011 12:16 PM

I am putting that on my to make list for Christmas. Cute

Tinabug 07-19-2011 03:07 PM

It did give me an idea to build in a cell phone pocket for all the aprons I make for my friends.

Read the remarks after the pattern.

Thanks for pointing that out. I will have to make note of it before making one.

Hate to be a stick in the mud but I don't think I'll make this one.

I wouldn't recommend making this for anyone who has a gas or propane stove or will use it while cooking at a grill. I'd worry about the flame and the whole darned thing catching fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, what about draining a big pot of boiling water?

Looks to me (maybe only me) like an accident waiting to happen.

Hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings.

I tried, but the link didn't work for me. I was thinking the same thing Karen did.

I can hardly wait to make one or more as well as regular pot holders. What fun!
