WOW - I have been wanting to try one of their classes and for free how lucky can I get. Thanks for sharing this - I would have missed it.

Thank you I was able to get it for free also but it just keeps loading and loading and I am unable to see anything.

carolaug 08-23-2012 02:36 AM

@nygal...I had the same issue. I was able to watch most of it but it kept stopping and reloading and I had to stop and reload...it was good but I do that anyways. the only good tip for me was the 2 inch rule. top first then batting 2 inches wides, then back two more inches wider when FMQ'ing or regular quilting.

Thank you!

They also have the block-of-the-month class which is free.

Thanks for the heads up on a free class. I've done several craftsy classes and have learned something helpful from each. I've been inspired to try something new also. I'm watching my pennies so I try to find the free and reduced price classe...they send out adverts periodically for the classes on sale. It's a good deal.

thanks! I love their classes!

Thanks a bunch! I'm watching right now. I never thought of rolling up the quilt top & batting and then placing on your batting. Elizabeth does such a good job explaining things and her teaching manner is excellent!

I saw this class a couple days ago. Elizabeth Hartman does a great job.

I just checked it out and had no problem. It looks very interesting and informative. Good work to Craftsy.

thank you for the info

I really like the classes that I have done on there so far. They have been very good.

Maggiem 08-29-2012 12:01 AM

I'm sort of disappointed with the latest Craftsy class I have joined. I don't want to name the class in public, but I find that the instructor advertises her own products far too often. She keeps mentioning "her" rulers...and it is very distracting, and after a few times, it is quite off-putting.

There are some nice tips, though!

I just signed up for one of their free motion classes. I got it for under $15.00. I will watch it next week when my two grand kids are in school. Yippee.:)
