Free form piecing

Just watched several videos on YouTube by Darlene Michaud doing what she calls quilt block party. Her technique of foundation piecing is very free form, that's what I would describe as. I watched several of her videos and was fascinated about how non- conforming her method is, but how it all worked at the end. I don't have a direct link, as I was looking for something else, and found her, but am sure you can find easily enough, if interested.......she did crumbs and foundation things just using scraps--- even non-cotton that she backed with fusible interfacing.....fun thing!

Reminds me a little of Gwen Marsden Liberated Quilting.
