Nice site. Thanks
|
First flower I saw was my favorite - TX bluebonnets. I've already printed it out. Thanks a bunch for sharing.

This is very pretty. I have patterns to machine embroider the state flower and bird and then I am going to applique the shape of the state on the next block. My next project after I finish this one I am doing, "The night before Christmas" It has 30 blocks. I have five more to go. Lots of embroidering but love it.

I made this quilt years ago for my daughter. When I put the blocks together I put Minnesota on the top that goes over the pillow.
|
Thanks for sharing!! I'm always looking 4 something 4 my Mom to embroidery.

This is wonderful!
I finished 'this' quilt top that my mom and her sister had started in the 1920s/30s as a HS home ec project in the 1960s. The main difference is that they had also crayoned the flowers and set the colors by ironing between two sheets of waxed paper. The muslin deteriorated by the late 80s/early 90s and I had it on my quilt rack when our house burned in 2000. So now I can re-create this! I'm so excited!!! |
