I see that a lot of you like to be resourceful like I am. I was looking at an online QS and they referenced the Windham line of fabrics with link. Went there and after looking and downloading for FREE, I thought I would share just one. Please make a mental note that the designers who do these patterns for all the fabric company may only allow the patterns up for a defined time frame- so if you like it download it now while it is free. (there was a thread on here recently about a former free pattern that had been taken off the Freebies) There are also tote bags, children's projects, and aprons.

Your link only gets to one pattern -- play with it, and you can find about 250! I printed 3 to start!

That's what I was hoping folks would do! Glad you took the time to check out the Free Projects and could download a few! Check out Robert Kaufman's site too. http://www.robertkaufman.com/ Just go to the Quilting Tab and then you will see, Quilts & Patterns then Free Quilts & Projects where you can view 171 more free patterns. I took the wallhanging pattern for the Boy Scout fabric and used my Girl Scout Fabric instead. They have runners, totes, pillows and even a water bottle holder. Baby Lock also has a some free project ideas and directions!

One of the reasons I have checked the fabric sites out is that when you have an older piece of fabric (inherited, traded, Goodwill find, flat fold sale piece, or discovered under a pile) as long as the selvage gives name and pattern # or name you may be able to find an existing pattern that used that fabric. Again ideas, ideas, ideas.
