I just found out The Sewing Machine Master Guide: From Basic to Expert [Kindle Edition] is currently free on Amazon. I'm an ipad user and downloaded the Kindle Ap for the book. What a deal! I don't know how long it will be free.

Go into your amazon account, put the book in your cart. It brings you to a screen that says "deliver to", click on your kindle. THEN, click on Continue. The next screen thanks you and also gives you a choice to deliver it to another device. Hit the arrow to the right and it will show you a drop down menu of choices. I loaded this book on my Kindle, my iPhone and my Windows 8 on my computer. Cool, huh?

Got em both .. Thanks .. there are quite a FEW free quilt, crochet and sewing books on Amazon. Just have to go through all the pages and download them .. I think there is something like 430 pages (?), don't remember the exact number but oodles of em !LOL :-)

Carol34446 and anyone else. You do not need to own a Kindle to download and own this book. If you go to Amazon you can download a free Kindle reader to your computer. You can then download and read any kindle book, free or purchased.

It works just like the Kindle reader, you have the books and can read them, enlarge or decrease font size etc. I find it very easy to use my laptop to read books. the enter, or arrow buttons turn the pages very easily.

unfortunetly didn't get the sewing machine book which
would have been so useful as I just bought a feather weight one out of two is not bad
