The directions were good. The only thing is you never said how to sew applique down. Do you use blanket stitch with same color thread or a neutral color thread? Or do you not sew them down at all?

Tuffy, after you create your top, you make a sandwich with top, batting and backing and free motion one straight stitch around the raw edge.
And then you sew on your binding and you are done!
