Great!! I've been looking for someone to sharpen mine...my mom brought me one about 18 yrs ago and they're still pretty good but wouldn't hurt to sharpen up some

At least you got your old box back! 2 years ago mine were returned to me in a plastic sleeve. I was upset, wrote them asking for my Ginghers box to be returned, they said IF the scissors were in a box when sent to them, it had been tossed. I was SO irritated!!

I don't see the guys that used to set up at craft and quilt shows anymore so I sent them back to the manufacturer in Greensboro NC. It took a month but they did a wonderful job. They are just like new. I am very pleased. If you are interested the address is Forveson Corp., 322-D Edwardia Drive, Greensboro, NC 27409. Enclose a check for $12 for each pair you send and it includes return postage. Only thing I was disappointed in is that I thought they would send me a new box. They sent them back in my 35-yr old box with stains, pet chews, etc.

Wonder if they can sharpen scissors that DH has ruined by trying to sharpen? LOL, it may be asking too much but I may give it a try. Thanks.

I have my grandmother's Ginghers and several of my own. They are too heavy, makes my hand hurt. I like the lighter new scissors. They are super sharp. I don't use big scissors that much in quilting.
