I haven't seen anyone on here mention Goodwill's online auctions. They sell alot of fabric and have seen many featherweights. Prices are pretty low, usually, but shipping can get a little pricey from some states...worth checking out.

I've look freq at their online site... unless things have changed tho.. I objected to their " handling fees" and Shipping wasn't exactly economical.
I dont recallseeing alot of fabric... might be time to ck in again!! Thanks for reminding me.!! |
shipping and handling is still to high for my tastes..

I did not know they offered this. Thanks for the info.

I found my 3rd Featherweight on Goodwill; a white one for $176 which I thought was awesome!

Don't forget the Salvation Army Thrift stores and other small thrift stores in your area. I know some people that got great deals there.

You can check www.shopgoodwill.com and enter sewing machine in the search bar. You can also see where they are located if it's a local pick up as well as figure out what the shipping would be.

I got some craft books pretty cheap from them and they arrived fast. :)

I just bought a Featherweight from ShopGoodwill.com . did not have to pay shipping charges because it was close to home. Warning: It can be additive !!

Starting June 1st they will no longer take paypal, checks or money orders. Must have a credit card. That leaves me out!!!
