got my Block
Just got my subscription/new edition of 2nd printing of Jenny's "Block" in the mail today. Course I live in Missouri, that might make a difference but last month, out of state subscribers got theirs before I did. Love it!!
I loved the surprise at the end of the magazine! Nice!
I got mine today also, only glanced at it but am anxious to really have a chance to read and study it.
The "Block" is a perfect gift for a new quilter. I plan to keep mine for my granddaughter.
Did you notice that it is being called an Idea Book?
Oh, I am in such a twitter. I got my today. I am thrilled. I haven't gotten a chance to read it yet, but, am really looking forward to a long evening of doing so.
Happy reading (and quilting) y'all. |
Fri came and went and no block. Will try and be patient.
Just got mine. I'm so excited to sit with a cup of tea and read it. :)
I live in Oklahoma and mine arrived yesterday.
I downloaded the Winter edition on my Nook and I'm delighted with it. This way I can use it as I wish, but it prevents one more item on my large pile of magazines and overfull quiltbookcase. Don't see the new one up yet, but looking forward to it. Already see some good ideas I'd like to try.
Still waiting anxiously for my copy -- it was WELL worth the wait for the first one!
Got mine today!! They hit my credit card on the 10th. So from now on, I will figure 2 to 3 weeks for delivery:D
I may be sorry but I cancelled my subscription. I don't see anything in it I can't find on YouTube.
I just received mine today. It looks great. I love several of the patterns already, plus Jenny has added some other extras.
Mine came today, was gone all day so just got it a few hours ago. Looks good.

Jenny has the binding class almost right. Now she just needs to leave only a 6 inch tail at the beginning, not 10 inches. A ten inch tail will put your seam too close to one end of the opening. It will be easier to work with if the overlapped beginning and ending are sort of in the middle of the not-sewn-on-yet binding. |
How often do these books come out?
