Great find
Just bought a kitchen mat (for in front of the sink) at Costco. Can't remember the name but the first word is Chef. They are really thick, like walking on air. I soon put it in front of my ironing station (aka ironingboard), wow it's great. Will be buying a couple more for in front of my short-arm. They don't slide aroung, should be great, not too inchanted with those foam play mats from Walmart, the ones that go together like a puzzle.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I found some at Lowe's that are like you said feel like walking on air and these are completely water proof. I can clean them with a water hose and wipe dry. I have hard ceramic tile in my sewing room so these mats are a must for me.

Thanks for this thread...as I was looking for something good and so I took the leap ad got the thick one for in front of my prep area ad two smaller, not quite as thick, for in front of sink and stove. Little costly, but no worse than regular rugs that you throw in washer and they eventually fall apart and slide around. These that I got stay put.
