great sale this weekend
 

my stash is almost gone, but in JA today, her fat qtrs were marked $1.00, (usually 2.49) and I used my 20% coupon off everything including sale items....so they were $0.80 or $3.20 per yard.....even the batiks! So I bought 5 of every color.....Its a start

Most everything in store was 40-50 percent off including notions and thread.

Thanks for the info! I'll probably spend the rest of the afternoon filling and emptying an online cart now as I "shop and dream" :) Maybe I'll actually buy something too! LOL

On-line the fat quarters are still $2.49 each, guess I have to go to the local store to see what the prices are.

That price is ok if you want just a bit of several colors. But, remember, it works out to be $4 a yard. That is what you would pay for many of the keepsake's with the 50%. The thread is a great deal and we have marked down many of the variegated threads to clearance of $1.97!

Math error: $1.00 /ftqrt x 4ftqtr/yd x .80 (20%coupon) = $3.20/yd (yes, some were keepsakes, some were from bolts above marked $9.99/yd and some were for batiks. ) JoAnns never has great fabric, but I am scraping the bottom of my stash. Not complaining...got some beautiful quilts from it over the years.

I doubt I will ever say those words.

yes, the sales usually have a "catch"......sale price requires 1 yard minimum. 40 % off one cut of fabric. Sale price does not include items marked on sale. Sale not applicable to this long list of items etc. So I ignore them. But this sale made me drive in.....and I am an on-line shopper. That is why I am sharing.....this is unusual for JA.
