Thanks for the tutorial. I've been researching raw edge applique. There's a project i've been wanting to start with applique. But, i've never done it before. I found that tutorial very helpful.

Would any of you have any idea why I cannot view the you tube videos? My "screen" is solid black. I sign in but still can't seem to view anything.

I had heard somewhere that if you use paper as your stabilizer all those little pieces of paper your needle has punched they reek havoc in your machine. That stabilizer is made to separate when the needle punches thru, although I use tear-away stabilizer. Is this true? Paper is cheaper & easier to use.

Thanks for sharing the tutorial. I am also questioning the use of paper as a stabilizer? I would like to try applique and this method seems easy, but I don't want to mess up my machine. Anyone ever used the paper method?
