Grid parchment paper

I just saw that Reynolds Kitchen Parchment Paper now comes with what they call "Smart Grid" much like the backs of some wrapping paper. This might make it easier to set out pieces to be used in quilting.

I haven't seen it yet in stores here but I keep looking. I guess I'll have to buy it from Amazon. I use parchment paper a lot, even in the kitchen. LOL

I use it as a pressing sheet, top and bottom, when working with any fusible product. I'm currently working on a t-shirt quilt; I used up the parchment paper on hand and I picked up a roll of the Reynolds gridded paper at the local Wal-Mart last Friday. I love it!! The possibilities for use are probably limited only by one's imagination! (However, I'm only on my first cup of coffee this morning; my imagination hasn't woken up yet ...)

mizmac00 ~ I never thought of using it as a pressing sheet. What a great idea.

I'm not really sure how I'd use the grid, but it sounds interesting.

I use it for a glue resist. When ever I have to use Fray Check, or fabric glue I use the parchment paper to protect my table surface. Love the stuff.
