Gridded Flannel for design wall

someone on here used grey gridded fabric for a design wall. I just got my Nancy's Notions catalog and she has it. in white grid too and sateen white. Called Flannel fabric, the grey is GGRID, just type that in.It is $11.99 a yard and 44 inches wide. actually I will get the green, it's 57 inches wide and $10.99 a yard.

Thanks for sharing. I hadn't heard of gridded flannel. Sounds like a good idea, tho.

I intend to put it on the wall going down my stairs to the basement. the only place I have.

My vinyl tablecloths backed with flannel have checkerboard grid and they're 1" grid. I paid $4.00 tax incl. And yes I can see the grid. If I need bigger I have an extra table cloth. My tablecloth is 6'x6'. Got it at my grocery store.

I use the back side of vinyl tablecloth fabric bought at Joanns in the home dec area. DH screwed it to a firring strip, then placed nails at a slight angle from which i hang my rulers, scissors, embroidery hoops etc. I sew in a small bedroom so space is at a premium.
