haval's sewing sale

Havel's has a special until 2-16 buy a rotary cutter for $15.98 & get a cutting mat free. Haven't ever ordered from them, than I found a coupon offer (save7 -- should be able to use again in case anyone is interested ) save $7 and no min. order. I ordered it yesterday, with shipping came to 13.98. It should be here Friday. Looking forward to getting it, hope the cutting mat is as good as they say it is. I really ordered it for the cutting mat, I LOVE my Martelli cutter. Has anyone used/ordered from them?

I don't see that offer on their web site.

Thanks! I ordered too ($13.98 with shipping)! I don't need a new rotary cutter or mat but at that price, I can't resist spares!!

I ordered as well, great deal....thanks

Sewnoma 02-06-2015 06:18 AM

Hey, thanks for the link! Perfect timing...my niece & nephew are old enough now to handle a rotary cutter and this is a perfect little set for them!

I use Havel seam rippers & love 'em.

willferg 02-06-2015 08:37 AM

Wow! I just got one, too. I've been wanting a new mat but just bought one about a year ago that already needs replacing. This is great!

pegquilter8 02-06-2015 09:01 AM

Thanks for the link. Just ordered one along with a skip blade.

JanieH 02-06-2015 11:35 AM

I ordered it and got $5.00 off the total (Coupon HSC113...expires 2/28/15).

CAS49OR 02-07-2015 09:21 AM

I didn't need the cutter but the save7 code was great, I got embroidery scissors!
I went back and got the rotary set too, what the heck, great price and now I can use spare rotary for cutting patterns.
:-)

Thanks for the info and the link! I've been wanting a bit smaller mat to use as a turntable so just ordered the duo for $13.98 with the save7 code. Reviews on the site were all very positive. Love the pink, just hope it's not stinky like the purple one I bought somewhere else. I put that one outside for a couple weeks to air, then set it aside to cure further at least a year ago, and it still stinks!

I ordered the cutting mat and rotary cutter deal, plus some other goodies I couldn't resist. Thank you for posting this!

sewingsuz 02-08-2015 01:21 PM

I ordered one also. Thanks for the lead. This is a great deal.

hoprigmom 02-08-2015 09:06 PM

Thanks for sharing. I ordered one as my old mat has seen better days and I wanted something smaller. I was also interested in their rotary cutters as I have one pair of their scissors that I love. I used the save7 code and got $7 off. I am going to tell my husband my fur babies ordered it for me for Valentine's.

Just an update I got mine on Friday I really like it. It did smell a little coming out of box but not for long.
Hope everyone likes their purchases.

Tweety2911 02-09-2015 07:13 PM

Thanks for sharing. I ordered the mat and cutter also along with an extra blade and wand for installing the blade.

LilaKay 02-10-2015 03:57 AM

Thank you for the heads up. I got mine ordered too..will work great to take to classes.

Yes, Martelli cutter is the best in my opinion. It is lighter than the others (Olaf) I have used and just easier to handle for these "aging" hands.
