I've watched his videos too and wonder what quilters who have used his frame have to say

I also will be looking in to see how it all goes

Did you ladies order your frames? Here is mine. I am almost done "practicing" on that cheater panel. I learned a lot so far. Next one I practice on will be a dark solid color and I'll use a light color thread so I can see my stitches better. Plus I need to have the batting and the backing much larger than I did on this one. The frame is working fine for me. I am still getting use to my new machine!! The foot pedal has a different "feel" to it then my regular sewing machine so it takes me a little time to get into the groove of the perfect speed etc.
I am more than happy with the frame set up. |
i know this is asking a lot...but would it be possible for you to post a small video of YOU using the frame? as in, a "real life person, not the quilt frame manufacturer" using it???

thanks for the links and please post a note and let us know how you like it

I am ready to start machine quilting. I think his frame looks like a great way to do that. Take a peek at one of his videos... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbTgcGmQ9PY This shows the parts and the pricing... http://machine-quilt-frames.blogspot.com/ |
Would it be possible for someone that has this frame to post a picture of the wheels. I have a frame like that but I think I need beter wheels and I'm not sure what kind I need to buy. Thanks a bunch.

I think this picture shows the wheels better. I am done with that first panel quilt. Next I am going to use a dark solid blue fabric and either use the chalk Pounce on the fabric with a stitch pattern or use a paper pattern and see how I do following the lines.

Thank you NYgal....they are great pics of the wheels and thanks for such a quick response. I definitely need to get new ones. Pat

Another question NYGAL....I just noticed that the wheels on the carriage and the wheels on the track are different...are they both roller blade wheels? same size? Thanks a million. Pat
