This is a great buy...I'm not interested, but if you're looking for something to maybe make $$ to sell finished (so you can BUY MORE FABRIC!), maybe this might interest you...

With shipping that's $50 in the US -- PS: the corners don't even match!

I noticed the corners as well. I am very new at quilting and it is the first thing I saw.

wouldn't pay that much for something my DGD could do just as well and probably better, since the corners aren't lined up very well.

Teeler............Thank You so much for sharing this website with all of us, here on the Quilting Board. I have some friends that sew projects & sell them quite sucessfully on Etsy. I have even bought several things myself.
:D :D :D :D

I can't believe anyone would buy something so poorly constructed.
Also can't believe someone would try to sell something so poorly constructed.

The person selling this probably thinks they did a great job and we must pray that they get better at it next time. We do no like the quilt police so we will not be them.

I can see maybe buying it to finish for practice or to use as a picnic quilt, but I, too, would be embarrassed to sell it.

I am the seller of this top. All the listings from my etsy shop are vintage and found at thrift stores, charity shops, church bazaars, jumble sales etc. They are not made by me.

Far from being "ashamed" or "embarrassed" I am proud to sell pieces that have character, charm, history and have a story to tell.

I should like to publicly thank Teela for giving my shop a link. It has bought me lots of views and favorites, some sales and potential sales, many inquiries and lots of great emails from folks who, for some reason, do not want to post here (perhaps they thought I would not see comments here)
I really appreciate it.
Very interesting forum, lots of information here.
