How to care for our mats

The Quilter's Circle email had a link to a helpful way to keep our mats in good condition with an added bonus at the very end.

I wipe my mat off when I'm finished. Like wiping the table before and after a meal. I use a microfiber cloth. Then take a towel and dry it right away.

Thank you for this post - I was just remembering the other day that there had been a thread on here some time ago about cleaning our mats, but I couldn't remember when or where, and was too lazy to search, but it is time to do spring cleaning- mine has had heavy use this cold and snowy winter!

Got the vinegar, but need to get a milder dish soap and one of those mushroom brushes..

My larger mat will not fit flat in the tub. Any suggestions?

I have heard of people putting their larger mat in a child's round swimming pool, when they won't fit in the bath tub.
