I have my grandma's and need to get it out and see what age it is?

This will be interesting. Who else has antique Singer sewing machines.

I have one circa 1930's and one that would be deemed a classic.

Hi,

That is awesome, did you know the year of it before?

Yes, the people we bought it from dated it. I got it at for 20 bucks. Cause they needed it out of the house. Even came with tons of goodies. Like the ruffler and a bias tape thing and a hemmer, it's pretty cool. The "classic" one was given to me by my Aunt, that machine now sits on that cabinet.

The singer site is a lot easier to find your FW or old singer machines and dates. I have went in there several times to see and did some research, not a lot, and they offer the best.

Thank you everyone for the new sites to check.

That was fun! I have my grandmother's machine. It was built 1926 in Elizabeth, NJ. Thanks for posting that resource. I also have a 1950 Featherweight.
