Interesting video on textile....silk one very hard to understand.....but also interesting ........
Wonder why cotton from all over the world is milled in China........or are there other places too......

There are some companies where cotton is grown and processed and dyed and printed in USA. I have found printed at JoAnn's and solid good quality here also, can't remember where, but search would show who.
And at $7-8 a yard too. Will be ordering some more solid soon. And made in USA. YEA

The part that amazes me is the actual printing of the fabric - I couldn't believe they screen print. And that they're able to do it as quickly as they do. The cotton and steel line is gorgeous, too!

Unfortunately, most of the American manufacturers are gone now. I would love to see it come back.
