Hsn

I was looking for sewing shows this morning ( got to program my quilt shows for Wed, you know) and saw that HSN is doing a sale (show) on Janome sewing machines. I don't know anything else about it, but thought I would give a heads up for any interested. It comes on Tuesday the 26th at 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. eastern time zone. Gina

I bought a Singer Quantum from HSN when they first came on the market. The one HSN was selling was different then the ones at the shop. The Singer man said the inside of the machine had more metal then the ones he was selling. He didn't know they made them with that much metal. My Quantum was much heavier then the Quantums he had in his store. I found out after much digging around that the machines were made for HSN and not sold in the stores made that way. The auto thread cutter was not included because HSN wanted a heavier duty machine for a certain price. Leaving off the thread cutter was the solution. I have not had one minute of trouble with the machine and it is about 14 years old. It sews a better stitch then my Bernina.

Are you sure it's this Wed? I couldn't find the show on the schedule.

It's on Direct TV for my area (north central Florida) for the 26th which is Tuesday. I hope you can find it. I intend to watch, but sadly don't have any money to buy. :(

Sorry, I misread your post. I looked on Tuesday the 26th. This is the machine that is shown:
[h=1]Janome Quilters Computerized Sewing Machine Model #49360 w/Value-Added Package for $599[/h]
I doubt there is any info about this machine if it was made for HSN only.
