I just can't throw away the corner triangles

This is great......thanks for sharing! Makes me wish I had some of those leftovers to try it out. ;-)

Nice projects for using them at that site. I don't save them anymore though. I figured out a long time ago I can cut triangle corners if I need some to use.
|
What a clever idea! Thanks for sharing.
|
Excellent idea.
|
Kinda cool way to use them up and you could plan to have a common half (eg white). Now to figure out how to use those HST up....
|
I save mine to use on Pineapple blocks.

I give mine to a friend who does wonderful things with scraps. She turns them into masterpieces. I don't have the patience.

Great idea. Thanks for sharing.

Do you use a pineapple trim ruler when you make the blocks?

Wow, a great tip.
|
Very clever, I have many triangles. Many, many triangles. This just might work!
|
Thanks for posting. I have lots of corner triangles to give it a try!

I sewed matching ones together to make squares to use as borders for the scrappy quilts I had been making.
Now I am throwing them away, not making those kinds of scrappies anymore. |
Anita Grossman Solomon is one of my favorite quilt instructors. She makes everything so simple. I ordered a set of her triangle rulers and they do make her technique of strip sewing them super fast.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsZaELc7NGA She shows you the strip piecing method on this video toward the end. |

No, I paperpiece mine. And I should have mentioned in my original post, that the idea for using the triangles came from someone here on QB, but can't remember who
