Buuuuut, Donna always makes it look like a breeze to sew! Lol... I love watching their videos too...it's calming to me watch, and listen to fabric being cut, and her lovely sewing machine sew. Am I weird?
It is a very cool pattern, done either way! I'm doing an obw with all triangles/half hexies like this. I'm stuggling a bit keeping it all so well met. :) |
I looked at this tutorial yesterday and have down loaded the pattern. I especially enjoy her emphasis on using color placement of color to make a pattern look so different. I hope to add this to my to-do list.

I know exactly what you mean!! The "sound effects" with Donna putting a quilt together are great!! :) You forgot the sound of the steam iron :D

Sure...I had a kite ruler template for years that I never used and finally sold it...isn't that what it takes to make this quilt? If so, guess I'd better buy another one! Geeeez

So pretty... but I know better than to make those points that have to all meet up perfectly in the center!
If you look very carefully at her center points, they do not match exactly either. They are just a little bit off. So what's the difference? Let it be. Just do it and don't be too criticle of your work. Nobody does it perfectly perfect all the time. |
SBG I thought Kaleidoscope was on your list to make! :-)

Suzie, if you do decide to make it, you could put the fabrics up on the Start to Finish thread.
