Hi,
I am organizing my sewing rooms and been surfing to come up with some new ideas. I just found this article, enjoy! http://www.lemontreetales.com/lemon_...hen-i-sew.html also I will post some pictures of how I converted a wood rack to store my small spools of thread and took hooks along the edges to hang my scissors. Also at quilt day workshop the lady used the plastic plumbing white pieces and put under the legs of the tables at the church and it raised the legs up to the right height to cut fabric. Four pieces of PVC pipe, can be slipped onto each leg of a folding table to raise it off the floor. Check which length you need the PVC cut to lengthen the original legs the correct amount. They become table leg stilts! Karen |
Wow, I just found this cool idea to raise our sewing tables up

I use my antique redmon baskets that were made in Peru, Indiana to store my fabrics. I have posted a picture to show 2 of them!

I just found this online and has lots of good ideas for us, enjoy! |
Also go to your hardware stores etc. as they always have empty old display racks that they have in storage room and they usually just give them to you. I have some nice spinner racks from them and don't forget to ask the grocery stores!
I love going to the 2nd hand stores, goodwills, flea markets and rummage sales to find ideas Karen |
Amma,
Wow, your horse is so cool running back and forth. It was nice chatting with you the other day on private messages! Karen "Craftybear" |
