It is at this site -- http://creativityamongstchaos.blogspot.com/
and is called Cherry Tweet. You need to scroll down the page about 1/3rd of the way to start seeing snippets of it. Little bluebirds and cherries. Lots of applique on the quilt. I'm bummed because the pattern, with shipping is $17. That is what I pay for a book! It reminds me of a tea cloth I worked on as a girl (many, many years ago). I was one of 5 girls and my mom used to take us out on the front porch and embroider and applique while the babies napped in the afternoon. Seems like a few years ago, but not 60 years ago. Oh my. What do you think? Gerry

It's adorable! I like the top one on there, too.

WOW! I am in awe of the beauty and craftsmanship. I aspire to one day create something that is this gorgeous!

It's a beautiful quilt. Blow the $17 on it. You love it and it reminds you of happy times. There has to be something you could skip to make up for the $17.

It is so cute!!

RedGarnet222 04-27-2010 09:22 PM

I got this one! I love cori's work. She is so talented. I pre-ordered it weeks ago. But her quilter's mom passed away and it took her a while to finish the quilting so the pattern could be photographed to be sold. Bless her heart.
Cori's kids sent me a set of those cute little "pincess" pins they make for a "little thanks for waiting" surprise. I love reading her blog too. She has a freebie embroidery going on now I am doing in the boy's version.

p.s. here is the site where you buy the pattern...

You are right. I have turned into a nut. I actually think about this quilt before I fall asleep. I absolutely have to have it. Sure will give me some incentive to make this one, since I have never spent that much money on a pattern. It would be so wonderful to make and finish this one. Now, all I have to do is retire and have the time to do it. I'm going to order it. End of story (for now).

annette1952 04-28-2010 06:34 PM

That is simply gorgeous. The quilting on it is perfect. I think you are making the right decision on ordering the pattern especially being in love with it as much as you are & the memories it brings you. You would feel bad if you didn't get it. If it is something you want bad enough then it's not expensive. Thats the way I see it. Even if I had to save to get it, I would.

GET THE PATTERN! You love it, will use it, and $17 is not really that much to duplicate all those fond memories!

The tutorials are excellent. Includes more important tips on the correct way to hold the needle and simplifies applique tips.
That you so much

Buy it.... that is absolutley beautiful.... buy it.... so what if that's what you would pay for a book.... have you seen this pattern in any of those books???? No.... it's a challenge, but worth it.. I might buy it!!!!! That's wonderful you embroider. I'm joining a embroidery guild, because it is a dying art... keep embroidering....

Oh my goodness. Yes, that is a beautiful quilt! I am debating whether to get it myself. I love blue birds, cherries and strawberries. That one is just to beautiful for words........

CarrieAnne 04-29-2010 01:31 PM

Oh, is that ever cute! I agree with the others, just buy it! Sometimes ya need to splurge!

kwiltkrazy 04-29-2010 07:53 PM

It's outstanding. Wish I could do applique, I do love it so. Just don't have the patience for it.

earthwalker 04-29-2010 07:57 PM

I think it will be money well spent. It seems a small outlay for such a lot of pleasure (and it's healthier than a lot of pleasures!).

I really like the quilt. Just reminds me of Grams, milk, and cookies and snuggling up with Grams to watch Password and Price Is Right. Simpler times for sure.

Did you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page? She made a little something different and cute. Check it out.

Beautiful quilt

Shiloh 04-30-2010 05:18 PM

It will be MINE soon. I mailed a check to Chitter Chatter today. I feel great and now I can't wait until it arrives at my mailbox. I'm so glad you all like it and gave me the little bump I needed to just buy it. She really seems like a sweet person and has some really cute items that she shares or sells. Gerry
