I didn't realize that but you can probably just substitute fabric for paper. :oops:

these are great for paper piecing except you would start in the center and work out instead of starting at the outer edge like you would in paper folding.

Vat-even though the idea is with paper folding, there's no reason you couldn't do the same idea with fabric, I do think that the numbering system would have to be rearranged though. Thanks again for the site, Loreli, I had forgotten about it, but had some patterns in my folder to do them with fabric.

That is really cool. I will have to see if I can figure it out for fabric one of these days. It would make for a very thick spot in the quilt but I can totally see doing it with fabric for a wall hanging or something. What a neat look. It reminds me of old string art - uh, without the string I guess it's all the straight lines that brought back that old memory :)
