I really like it.

Interesting! It looks like a very simple but useful idea. Great for a beginner.

I found this really interesting. Looked at other sites about it and someone commented that it is like the Apple of sewing machines. A totally new concept that can morph and evolve into whatever is needed. The one thing I can't figure out is, if you are pushing down on the base to make the needle move, are your hands on top of the fabric? How does it move along, as you press down? Would like to see it in action. Also, that Trend site has some fabulous other ideas, too! Viva la future!

Thanks for sharing, that is really interesting. Wonder if she can take the feed dogs out and we may have a new FMQ machine lol

Ditto on pushing the base to make it move!!! Not sure I like it though.

That looks really neat! I'd love to have one to try...

Looks good except for the "pushing down" to control the machine. Nice sleek look tho, but do not think it is very versatile. Check out Threads magazine..there is an article on it.

Interesting machine. Makes a lot of sense.

w7sue 03-11-2013 09:53 AM

It would be fun to try - wonder how hard you have to push down on the fabric - would your hands get tired?

mjhaess 03-11-2013 03:58 PM

That is Wild......I don't think I could get use to sewing with something like that....

Did you see a bobbin? I wondered if this was like the antique chain stitching machines (shuttle)? The flexible drive shaft was innovative, but not enthused about a chain stitch.

OHSue 03-11-2013 07:36 PM

I wondered about the chain stitch. And if you push down to run it, every time you move the fabric, it stops. It does say this it is geared towards folks who don't know how to use a sewing machine already, so we aren't the market. But I do think the flexible drive shaft is an idea that seems like it could improve sewing machines, larger harps.
