Some long arm quilters will baste everything together for a fee, of course! LOL But better than hands and knees getting sore...this method looks way smart. I'll try it on a small.

I've been using this method for quite a while and get fantastic results and it is so easy. For bigger quilts I do them a section at a time and then put it all together at the end and just quilt over the joins.

I was just telling my DD today how hard it was pin basting my last large quilt on the floor that I may never make a large one again, maybe this will have me eat my words...

This looks similar to what I do but without the boards. I think it would be more accurate than just working with the top on the sewing board. Thanks for sharing it.
