Interesting way of making coverlets (without batting)

Just thought I'd post it here. If you ever need to make a coverlet without batting.
This is just one layer.

Awesome! Thanks! It has been a problem wanting to cover our bed with that darn extra deep mattress, and this coverlet idea fits the bill. I am thinking in terms of using my collection of batiks.....

Than is pretty interesting. I will try that with some of my larger pieces of scraps. Thanks for posting that link.

That's pretty cool. Makes me want to try it. Sure would be easier to make a king size that way than trying to feed a quilt sandwich thru the harp of the machine. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting. I like the way the pieces are finished and no seams to show.

That sure would be an easy way to make when doing a king size. Also in place of doing a duvet cover that my GD would like.

I also saw a cute tablerunner. I need to replace the one I made for Christmas! :)
