This is a gorgeous pattern and with instructions on the Lonestar w/o the "Y" seams. Have a binder for the different patterns. My printer only prints black and white but with color markers, I can quickly color in giving idea what colors I want to use. Love the colors on this one.

Beautiful quilts!! I do have a question tho... How do you machine quilt the designs.. I'm having a hard time because the quilts are really hard to hoop... I've tried several diff ways and they are always hit and miss :(

Okay I am trying this beautiful quilt, and am really frustrated. I finally ordered the ruler recommended to do this and still my stars do not fit right without a lot of trimming. I am thinking I am not understanding the directions correctly or they are not given correctly. The angle of the cut on the strips would have been helpful. When I make my cut of the strips to equal 2 1/2 at the top and 2 1/2 at the bottom I end up with the sewn diamond not to be equal, and then the corner pieces seem way too large...Has anyone actually made this with success...It is so pretty. This is the first quilt I have had any trouble following the directions...any ideas ladies????
