JoAnn's coupons
Is it just me? But I am not getting any of JoAnn's coupons/brochures in the mail anymore! They have not even put a sale ad in the Sunday paper for three weeks! What's going on? Could always depend on those coupons when I needed something and I miss their sales ads! Don't tell me they're not sending them out anymore1
I didn't receive my flyer until yesterday and the sale date has already begun. Don't know what the delay is all about.
I got my flyer yesterday, too.
if you dont have your name scanned on the back of the flyer for a certain period of time, you fall off the mailing list.
If you have a smart phone go to their website you can down load the coupons and you don't have to turn them in. Helps if you forget something, and have to go back like I do. Also click on the info for your local store and there is normaly a 40% off one item there every week, really helps on my budget. You can do everything from your computer also and just print the coupons, but then you have to print more if you go back.

I haven't had any problem at all- our Joanns takes as many coupons as you have in one transaction...sweet!
Joanns will take multiple coupons as long as they have different UPC codes. I was able to use 4 the other day - 40% & 50% off regular priced items.
Also if you have a smart phone: you can pull up you Joann emails with the coupons in it and they will scan that at the register also.
FYI: Hancock fabrics will also take Joann coupons off your phone too, you don't have to print them off, including email coupons, app coupons and website coupons |
You can get them on your phone and on the web.
I have plenty of coupons, from the ad in the Sunday papers and also received one in the mail this past week. I have no idea why you don't have any.
I frequent the local Hancocks and they will take the JoAnn's coupons but they want a copy and they keep it.
Also I no longer receive the Hancock flyers and when I inquired why, the sales associate said they only send them to their "top" spending customers. She had some under the counter and gave it to me. She said the corporate office preferred people use the internet to check for sales and print coupons...guess it is one of the cost savings things. The downside is if I don't receive a flyer I may not look at the website and don't go into the store. |
The last several times I went to Joann's to redeem coupons there was little fabric that was not on sale (and obvious why because it was faded and bland fabrics only). I asked a person putting back fabric if there was any NOT on sale and she said only some on the middle of the back wall! After spending about 20 to 30 minutes looking throughout the store for things I might want, and finding more than half of everything (it seemed) on sale I left without anything. After this happened 3 times I have pretty much stopped going to Joann's. Last week I wanted rotary blades and asked DH if he would pick them up. He went to several stores and Joann's was priced the highest, coming down to close to the other stores' prices only with the coupon. At our local store, anyway, the coupons are useless. We don't like the gimmick of what they are doing. They've made it into a sham.

Sandrea/Sierra..... hate to sound negative.... but I too have been very disappointed with Joann's. I have also pretty much stopped shopping there. At least in my area not impressed with their store.... hope something changes because I enjoyed them so!
When they have their fabrics on sale for $1.00 off per yard, that is still not a bargain for me! $1.00 off $12.99 or $13.99 a yard fabric is not enough enticement to buy it. Now if I could use a 40-50% off coupon on it, then I'm more interested!
I just get a lot of email's from them, most of the time, I just delete them, don't even open em!
I would contact the store. I still get them, as well as those in the Sunday paper.

I used to treat myself to a magazine with a coupon. Now they have magazines 10 percent off so you can't use a coupon. I will not spend $6 on a magazine when I usually just look at the pictures. Very seldom actually make a quilt out of the magazine. They do know what they're doing. You just have to shop so carefully!
There is no comparison for me on JoAnns and Hancock Fabrics, I also think JoAn's coupons are worthless...I really enjoy shopping at Hancock with or without coupons.
whenever you do go to Joann store, you need to have the clerk scan your mailing address on the flyer, even if you don't buy anything, otherwise you will need to reapply to get the flyer started up again . . . thats what nI had to do. hope this helps.
They do have an app that you can get the coupons. You just show your coupon on your phone.
I don't receive the flyers either, just the post card notice. I went to Joann's looking for fabric to match what I had at home. No "on sale" signs posted anywhere near the fabric. Got to check out and couldn't use 50% off coupon cause fabric rang up as being on sale, one dollar off regular price!! I told the cashier, that "sucks" . Haven't been back since.
My Joann's flyer came late too, and there haven't been any ads in our paper lately. They had quite a few this spring, but then they stopped ...
I keep giving Joann's a chance because there is a store near my office. We have no Hancocks here now. I went in last week just to browse, and to my surprise I actually found 2 new quilting books I wanted ... they had FINALLY updated their book section !! Some of the books they had previously had been there literally forever - and this is supposed to be a "Superstore" ?? But when I checked out the clerk refused a 50% email coupon for another item I had, she said it was for fabric only ... but it was for "one item" (as they usually state). She checked with another clerk after I questioned it, and the other clerk corrected her ... It's still more aggravating to shop there than it's worth ...!! |

Isn't it aggravating??? I hate to go into JoAnns anymore. It happens EVERY time I go in there. I want to use my 40 or 50% coupon and everything I need or want is marked down just a little, so you can't use the coupon.
I totally agree with going to JoAnns most of the coupons are useless! You think you find something and then at the checkout find out it was already on sale, not marked, or the clerk won't take the coupon say some excuse why not. Yet one of my favorite thing that they JoAnns seems to be pulling lately is you'll get the sale flier and there is an item on sale for a great price and it's an only one day sale so you'll get there when the store opens to be able to get the item and the store never got it but you can't get a rain check...
I had not received a flyer in the mail for awhile. I happened to go into the store a few days ago to fill out another form and guess what, they did not have any forms. The pad on top of counter was empty and she did not have any more. I suppose I will try again later.

I have got some from this website :D http://joanns-coupons.com
