Joining binding ends

I don't know why I never thought of this way to join the ends of the binding strips, a step that I seem to have a ton of trouble with, but Nancy's Notions has a video on what to me is a simple step to do this. I hope this helps some folks who have never tried this method.

Neato! I finally got down a technique that works for me, but this sure looks worth a try. Thanks for the tip.

This is what I do, minus the tape. I'll have to try that.

That does look like a quick way to connect the two ends. May be worth a try.

This is exactly how I do mine except I don't use the tape.

The Crafty Quilter has a good one too.

I actually took a "binding" class. We were shown all kinds of techniques with all kinds of helpful do-dads to make it happen. This is the technique I took away from the class that was the easiest.

I did not watch the whole video but I do not use any tape (what was that for), just press the 45 degree angle and trim, when you get to the end, do the same thing, trim to a reasonable length (you don't need inches) and tuck her in!!
