Very cute, but OMG I don't think I'd enjoy all those eensy, weensy pieces. That's why I do patterns like this with paper piecing! I wish it were a paper piecing pattern:<

YAY!!! wish I weren't on the way to work, I would start hopping!

Hopping on the first day is problematic, as some of the clues aren't posted. I got my blocks, Happy Happy, and the 1st one collected was the bat. But geez, some of the sites took for ever!

Yes, this is a great pattern! And I found 6 block patterns of them in a little over an hour. I sure like the way FabShopHop has "automated" the pattern searching, they appear in order, 1,2.. and then when I found all of last months, no more appeared. Makes searching a lot more fun.

I also liked the look of the center house, log cabin blocks for the roof?

I agree. I found all of June and July very quickly. I never did get any of the May blocks to come up (I was very disappointed  ). May was the first time I had attempted the Shop Hop and I am thinking none came up because I wasnt signed on to the member site first? Who knows, lol!

I did the July shop hop yesterday and thought it was different that the blocks populated in order but not happy to wait till next month for the center block!

I agree with you about the paper piecing. I am not sure I could do the blocks effectively otherwise. It IS a darling pattern though!

I love this pattern too. I did Junes hop and this was the first time I found all the bunnies.

My thoughts too. I have saved all the patterns, but you're right there are a LOT of tiny pieces. Maybe someday I'll try it.

Started 1st day. I already have 4. Cute.

How long did it take to get all/most of the shops? It seems like it took me two whole afternoons. This is the first time I have done this.

Grandma Mary 07-11-2011 12:26 PM

You'll get better at it once you've done it a few times. It does take a while, but I have fun looking at the sites and I won something the last two months.

IrelandDragonQuilting 07-11-2011 02:07 PM

I have gotten them all on the first day they seemed to be at every other store. I am going to rework the pattern I believe there is places that do not necessarily need all those tiny pieces and can be made into one larger one.

Hello, I just realized that I missed the Halloween patterns and was wondering if you would be willing to email them to me. I would be forever grateful. :-) Cathy
