I'm sure that this site has been on the board before but I just came across it. http://www.freequiltpatterns.info/fourth.htm
This will be more projects then I can do in a life time.
Hope this is helpful.

I also love free patterns, and this message board for all the help from so many people, I was happy to pass this site on.

I'll be interested to know if anyone makes this style of quilt and what they think of it. I'm not sure it sounds very cozy. That's a lot of satin stitching.

I would make it with thin batting on the strip before I sewed the tube and then use single stitch to sew together. It would be like a biscuit quilt but instead of squares it would tubes.

SKIP A STITCH ROTARY BLADE for fleece blankets or flannel blankets. Just found this web site for you who like to crochet around the edges of your blankets for Linus Projects. This blade is awesome. Go to skip a stitch.com and also Nancy's notions carries the rotary cutters and blades.
