MEH did you take a pic of your stars? Do we need to use moda fabrics??

I am going to present this to our 4h sewing club. This would be a great service project for our children to undertake.

This was posted last week by someone else so Moda should get a great response. I'm just about finished with 8 blocks to send. Thanks for posting it

My blocks are finished and will be in the mail today. Great cause!

I made two and will send today or tomorrow. Sent an e-mail to my daughter in VA and told her I had a project for her. The next day she e-mailed me from work, said she had done two and they were already mailed. She was always ahead of me from the day she was born.

I downloaded the pattern, will be making some to send too.

I would love to do this.

I have 2 ready to go and busy looking for more blue and red fabric to make more. i am also going to pass this pattern along to others who quilt.

I made a copy for my guild President, we do make Quilts of Valor. Not much time to use their new fabric if they want blocks by May 1st. I have to travel to find it. I'll make one to start with my fabric.

I presented this to our quilt quild last Friday. Hopefully there will be about 30 blocks that will be turned on April 5. I will then send them to the address listed on the letter.

I told my guild about it last week and gathered 18 stars on Saturday that I will mail!! and hope to gather that many again at our April meeting....

I printed the pattern and have pulled out fqs to make two blocks. They'll be done this weekend. Moda should get lots of response!

Thanks for posting again. It will just remind more quilters to do this.

I have now got my fabrics I'm going to use. Will work on them this weekend. It is a worthwhile project. My DH is retired military and has served overseas. My heart goes out to those families whose loved ones are over in Iraq and Afghanastan.

I've got a group in GA that will ship altogether.

As a mother of a recently deployed solider I will be make as many as I can over the week-end. I am so proud of my baby boy.

We have until May 1 to get them to Moda. So now rush but the sooner you start the more you can do ;-)

i have finished and already mailed off 5 stars, all in memory of family members...

I sent 4 a week ago.

I sent mine off a couple weeks ago- Forgot to take a picture tho- durn it! I sure hope they do a followup and tell how many they received overall. Should be some fabulous quilts made!
