Just tried the tape tip, it works
what a great--and easy--tip! I'll definitely try this out and pass along to the beginner class I work with.
I can't wait to try this! Thanks for posting it!

So simple...will pass this on to quilty friends
Great tip. I follow her blog. Love it.

I've been doing this but I use the clear packing tape. It's very slippery and a little wider.
I will try this today! Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for sharing this! I'm wondering where my cute Washi tape is; but I do have other, more boring tapes.
I figured out the raised lip being a problem a long time ago. I use to use tape, works fine. DH tinkered with my cabinet so the machine sits perfectly even now.
Wonderful ideas! I'm going to try them today. The greatest ideas are the simple ones. I never thought of this an I've had the same problems for about 100 years!!
I follow her blog as well...but I must have missed this post. For some reason I don’t have trouble with flipping on my Bernina but I’ll definitely be using tape on my other machine. Thanks for sharing.

Me, too! Love her method to finish the binding! It is better than anyone else's! Plus, it's never fail!! :-)

Thanks for sharing this tip. I thought it was just me and quilting surprises.
I had success with this tip, too. It's one of those things you might not realize is causing the problem, and the fix is so simple.
