With all of the talk about vintage machines, I thought maybe you might find this interesting too.
Wouldn't this be a GREAT find :D:D:D

That would be a great find! I've never thought about it, but what did all of those poor lefties do? Even now, our machines are set up to accommodate right handed people.

I have a freind who can't get the hang of sewing and we've decided she is the most left handed person ever. I try to do things the way she would and I'm not too successful with that so can't say it's her fault. We tried hand sewing and at least for now we're on hold. I don't even dare try to put her on the machine. Her Mom tried to teach her and it was not pretty, so we'll enjoy other things together, but this made me think about it again.

Advise from a lefty, teach facing each other. That way your right hand is on their left side and it is easier for them to learn what you are doing and duplicate the motions.

I am a leftie. I always wondered why they never made a machine for us, Great find.

Wow, I didn't realize that they ever made a left handed machine. I guess it does make sense, but I have never even thought of it...
