Thank You. I have needed one of these for a long time. Now to get hubby -who has every wood tool needed- busy.

When I made mine, I did not like the idea of screws possibly snatching at my fabric ( countersunk or not)!! So I just used some Gorilla Glue and glued the legs on!!! Works like a charm!!

Gorilla glue is a great idea. You could also fill the screw holes with wood filler and sand it a little that way it doesn't snag the fabric.

You can buy the screw in wood legs and have no screw holes at all. Some of the legs are adjustable so you can level the table.

My DH used the Formica cutouts from putting in sinks to make an extension for my two sewing machines, cut out the space for the open arm and attach wooden legs. Can't sew without them.

My husband made one for me about 5 years ago to take to a class for my featherweight.I still have it and I had him to put a handle on the end of it so that I could carry it easier.I love it!
