ok, what is "fat quarter?" yes I did look at the fave craft about binding, which I really need to know how to do.

A fat quarter is a pre-cut piece of fabric. Most fabric shop have a large box full of colorful fabric so you can mix and match. You don't have to carry bolts up to get cut.
My Walmart, who got rid of their fabric department, still sells fat quarters, jelly rolls (2 1/2" strips of different, but coordinating fabric), and some charms (4" sq. package of coordinating fabric),I think. I hope I am explaining this clearly |

THANK YOU SECOND ONE I FOUND GOING TO SAVE IT-THIS SHOWS FAT QUARTER THE OTHER ONE DOESN'T MENTION THE AMOUNT OF FABRIC NEEDED- IT WAS ON CONNECTING THREADS UNDER FREE PATTERNS NEVER TRIED IT BUT SOMEDAY

Hey everyone! with us pinching pennies, I thought I would do something, I went to Joanns and bought some quilt binding, was I ever surprized! Never more!, will be cheaper in the long run to make own binding! just like what we are learning on here!
