Thanks for the inspiration to get busy on my stash!

watterstide 08-13-2010 01:58 PM

I did 3/4's of my stash, anything 1 yard and over, i put of the board...then i just quit! it sure does look nice standing upright on a shelf!

i still need to get busy on it..!

What a great idea...I'm going to try it...I am sick of rummaging thru storage containters

I'm new at this so I hope I'm sending this to the right person! The organizing fabric project you and your husband created is beautiful. I, too, am tiring of unstacking the storage boxes to admire my stash!! Great job, you two!!!

I saw that yesterday and it's my next project to make. A trip to The Dollar Tree store is in order for the foamboard.

I just love this idea BUT..................I would be at my

I loved all of your suggestions on how to organize fabrics by wrapping them around things. I really like the cake boards idea. (From Wal Mart). I cut them in half & wrap 3 or 4 fabrics on them. I recently started cutting the curved edges off foam meat trays & wrapping 3 or 4 sm. pcs. of fabrics on them. Works great. I just knew they could be used for something.
