Making your own color catchers

I haven't tried this yet (just came across it): http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/...-catchers.html

If you try it, please let us know if it works. I know some of you cannot the color catchers easily in your area.

I will have to try this. I use color catchers in every colored clothes wash

Thanks as I have used cheap white face cloths just by throwing them in the wash water . Now found the catchers but don't need many

I find my Color catchers in the small local Walmart.

I tried making my own catchers, they did nothing. I was disappointed.

I just use a white terry cloth all cotton towel -- one works for a long time and you see it change color.

I tried the Purex No Sort laundry detergent and it works great. It has color catcher added to it. I use it for all my fabric washing.

I always wash new fabrics that are red or black, or any that are suspicious before I use them. My grandmother taught me to "set the color" by adding about a half cup of white vinegar in the wash water. Works for me.
