Mandalas
This is something new to me, I received an email on Mandalas. Since I know nothing about this I did a quick search. As I understand it in some cultures it is the symbol for universe. Well.... I think these Mandalas would be beautiful quilted onto quilts. Here are a few sample pages.

Thanks for the links. I agree with you.

There is also a mandala maker..it was a spin-off of the old spirograph...came with wheels to put together and make your own mandalas...probably can still find them on ebay..

I love circles. Thanks

Look at RaNae Merrill's book Magnificent Spiral Mandala Quilts. I made the one on page 6. I don't know how to post a picture.

Mandalas
They would be good to appliqué but I wouldn't care to piece them. Great pictures. I can see a quilt!
Or paper piece. There are patterns out there. |
This would make great quilting designs in solid areas or blank spaces. Since they are in a digital form, I wonder if they could be transferred to an embroidery machine.

The would make great embroidery squares for a quilt. I may pick a few for a winter project. Thanks for sharing.

I just recently ran across Mandalas myself they are fun and relaxing and some would make great quilt designs.
