Martelli rotary cutters
Joann's is having 40% off of Martelli rotary cutters for both left and right handed quilters. Well, after much research, I decided to go with the sale and got the 60mm left-handed rotary cutter - good price and better than Martelli or Amazon. Believe it's for today only, so decided to invest in one. Read on the Quilting Board that a Martelli rotary cutter is a good investment. Hope this helps.

I love my 60mm cutter. I think most people use the 45 more, but not me.

Well, I'm hoping it won't take too long to adjust to using the Martelli rotary cutter. Saw a few youtube clips that were helpful. Also, understand it's a pretty sharp cutter and you must be super careful with your fingers.

I much prefer using my 60 mm rotary cutter to the 45 mm... much more efficient!

I have an olfa rotary cutter which is years old and the basic model. I use it every day and it is as efficient now as it was when new. (Dozens of new blades in that time). The point I make is that this model can be used by right or left handed people as I am one of the lucky ones who can use either hand - and I do. It does not seem to matter which hand is used. Incidently this board is fabulous, I have been quilting for many years but have picked up lots of new ideas from here. Thank you all for your input. Anne
