Mary Fons
 

Does anyone know what happened to Mary Fons? She used to write a blog but now all references state that the account has been suspended. I think she is still the editor of Quiltbook but I am not sure. I miss the girl.

She still posts on her facebook page, at least as of June 10th. Wonder what's up with her blog.

She currently publishes a column http://quilts.com/columns.html with the organization that puts on the Houston Quilt Festival.

I saw her lecture at QuiltCon in Nashville in February. She seems to have a lot of irons in the fire. Mostly writing and speaking not so much quilting. She did say she was not a Modern Quilter even though she has been a Speaker at all QuiltCons.

While she doesn't write on her blog as often as she used to, her last post was on June 10th, so the site is still fairly current. Find it at maryfons.com/papergirl

Mary Fons is now editor in chief of Quiltfolk magazine. It is a quarterly issued magazine of quilt stories that each month feature a different state/region. No advertising. I spend hours reading this.
