Matching points with dental floss

Does anyone on here do this for a whole quilt?

Accurate, but time consuming. Worth remembering for something really important I guess.

This is not for me! I didn't have the patience to watch this whole video! I guess I'm not near being a perfectionist. I'd rather save my sanity even if it means not so perfect points!

Personally, I would rather make more than one quilt in a lifetime!

I clicked on the other use of dental floss....pulling threads to the back....I will try this, rather than threading every "tail" separately in a needle for every thread I need to bury.
We will see how long I do this.....

Interesting! Time consuming in his video but I bet once you got going it would be much faster than stitching, un-stitching and restitching because the points were not "just right". I bookmarked and will wander the site for other ideas.....later.

Great idea and a good way to cut down on the stress of making the perfect intersections and matches for points. Of course I miss a point here and there and this is a great way to work on them.

Definitely not my "cup of tea"!

I watched this but I don't really see the need for dental floss. Putting a pin through will work. I can't imagine doing that for a whole quilt.

I like the concept of this for perfection however, this is to much perfection for me. I think as you get used to doing this process it won't take long but I don't think it's the technique personally for me. Thanks for the link.
