Sure have been missing you two on HGTV. I don't watch HGTV as much as I used to. Not real interested in watching someone chooseing a million dollar second home, or condo. The type of program you and Shari do are far more interesting to me.

Matt - Shari did a great job on the quilt! What a GOOD idea! And, I'm with the others, I miss your program. I also miss ALL the craft shows that was on HGTV. I believe HGTV is going to lose out in the long run....they haven't come to reality yet...the reality is that only a small portion of the nation can afford those HUGE homes or afford the HUGE remodeling jobs.

Shari and Matt, I too have really missed you two, and like the person above, I hate watching all the "house hunter" shows. Wish HGTV would go back to what they use to be! And Shari, I absolutly love the baseball quilt!!! My 17 year old grandson has played ball since he was 5 years old, and grandma and grandpa didn"t miss a game. I've made a quilt for his sister, but never found something "special" to make for him to keep, and this will be it! Your pictures and info made it easy to understand. The ball stitching may give me some trouble, but I'm going to give it a try!!A big thanks for showing that!

I miss your show on HGTV as well. don't know the last time I watched that channel. I don't like the "modern" colors that are chosen today in decorating shows, so I skip them.

Nice quilt. Cool to have you on the board, Matt. I really miss your show too. I watched it EVERYDAY. And got alot of good info. It's a shame they chose to do away with it and the other how-to shows.

Thanks for sharing Matt! I used to watch your show all the time. Decorating one room at a time is about all I can manage on my budget and working full time. (I cannot bulldoze the back end of my house and put in a $100,000 addition.) Really miss Room by Room.

Welcome Matt--say hello to Shari--I too miss Room by Room, as well as Decorating Cents and all the other do it yourself shows. While I love Holmes on Homes, the other shows they now have on HGTV are just not worth my time. Miss you both very much.

Shari's quilt is SO CUTE! I use to watch your show ALL THE TIME, and LIVE for HGTV, but slowly, all my favorites left and I NEVER watch it anymore! - The Home Show was one of my favorits - with Carol Duvall - years ago they were going to buy a town and then it fizzled out! We even saw it filmed in the studio...........nothing stays the same, does it? So Matt - what neat projects have you been doing? You ALWAYS had such great ideas

Miss you guys and your good, practical and useful advice on Room by Room! Real estate hunting on another continent just isn't applicable to my lifestyle. Thanks for sharing Shari's cool quilt.

Cute quilt! I don't think I've ever found something of Shari's I haven't liked. ( I tried the stamping a wall - ooops - ink didn't dry but I liked the idea! ) As you can tell from most of our post, we really miss your Room by Room and the crafty shows that used to be on HGTV. How nice to have you with us!

I loved your show and tried many of the ideas. Wish you were back. If some of the remodeling shows pertained to the average person they might not be bad. Your program did. Even the quiilting shows are on at 5am in the morning.Miss you lots.

What a great quilt !! We are a family of baseball & softball nuts, so this goes on my list ! I've already made T-shirt quilts for DH (coach) & kids

I don't watch much HGTV anymore, either ... Matt & Shari, when your show ended AND they took off Alex Anderson, that really soured me on HGTV.

Quilting is a multi-BILLION $$$$ business - so WHY can't HGTV provide ONE new quilting show for all of us ???

Now it's nothing but real estate shows & expensive or tacky remodels AD NAUSEUM ... and vacation homes overseas that 99% of REAL PEOPLE will never be able to afford !!
The only show we really watch now is Holmes on Homes - at least he does work for REAL people
